Welcome to the Knowledge Center

First Nations Development Institute is an American Indian nonprofit organization that helps strengthen and revitalize the economies of Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian communities. First Nations works with Native communities to identify successful development strategies and document our findings so that others may learn from the promising practices in the field.

We provide publications on a range of topics. Click on the links to the right to find publications related to the Native nonprofit sector, economic development strategies, financial education, and other topics.

Note: Many of our publications were produced with the support of grant funding that requires us to collect basic information for reporting purposes.  This requires users to create a free account to download many publications in the Knowledge Center. First Nations' annual reports and financial publications are available for download without creating a login.

Webinars and Recordings: First Nations also offers various webinars under our "First Nations Knowledge" series at www.firstnations.org/fnk. Look for upcoming webinars on that page, or click on the "Previous Webinars" links for recordings and materials from past webinars.
