The first two days of this training will provide insight and strategies to help you develop your business plan, unique considerations in agricultural businesses, and other tools to improve your agricultural enterprise utilizing The Business of Indian Agriculture curriculum. Upon completion of the course, you will have the technical knowledge to expand your community and personal agricultural enterprise. Topics covered will include developing a business plan, financial and strategic planning, and marketing. 

The third day will provide tools and strategies to conduct a community food sovereignty assessment specifically utilizing the First Nations Food Sovereignty Assessment Tool. Upon completion of the course, you will have the technical knowledge to work with producers to expand their community agricultural enterprise and engage community in agricultural planning. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to network with other people involved in tribally-based food and agricultural projects.
