First Nations collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, phone number, and email address when it is voluntarily provided to us when making either an online or offline donation
Online Donations: The information you transmit to us through an online donation is encrypted and is secured by an SSL Certificate. The companies we work with to process your online donations and product purchases also use encryption and security protocols. The information you provide is stored in a secure, password protected location, is accessible only by designated employees trained in the proper handling of customer information, and is used only for the stated purpose for which the information was collected.
Offline Donations: The information you send to us with your donation is stored in a secure, password protected location, is accessible only by designated employees trained in the proper handling of customer information, and is used only for the stated purpose for which the information was collected.
First Nations keeps an electronic record of each donor's giving history in a secure, password protected location,. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by the organization to analyze overall giving patterns in an effort to make accurate budget projections.
First Nations does not share, rent or sell the names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses it collects with other groups that may have information of interest for the recipients unless permission has explicitly been given (Opt-In). Personal account number information is never disclosed for any purpose. If you do wish to have your information provided to other organizations, please note this request in writing when sending your contribution. When using our secure online forms to make a contribution with your credit or debit card, or making First Nations a part of your estate planning, please select the option that reads, "You are authorized to share my information with other organizations."
If you have previously granted permission to share your name, address phone number or email address you may rescind that authorization at any time by sending a request to “Opt-Out”. Please include your name, address and, if applicable, your email address and send the request to:
